Start Before Youre Ready

Evening Bus Stop Scene

There’s a common belief that you need to feel ready before you begin. In reality, readiness is often the result, not the requirement. Waiting for confidence, clarity, or the “right time” usually leads to inaction.

Starting is uncomfortable because it exposes uncertainty. But that discomfort is part of the process. Every meaningful path begins with incomplete information. You learn by doing, not by waiting.

Perfection delays progress. It creates the illusion that things must be fully formed before they exist. Most good work starts incomplete, rough, and uncertain. The act of starting is what shapes it.

Take a small step today. It does not have to be perfect or impressive. It just has to exist. Momentum builds from movement, not intention.
